I used to sleep peacefully and have sweet dreams, but now I sleep afraid of the sound of airplanes. When I was sick, I used to go to the doctor and get medicine and the vitamins I needed, but now there are no vitamins or medicine. Even our food has changed. I used to eat food like everyone else, everything I wanted, like vegetables and fruits, and I even craved burgers. But now we eat canned food just to stay alive.

I'm supposed to live like all the other children in the world, but now I feel alone and not like them.

The sea is my favorite place. I used to love going there to play, but now it's full of disappointments. The place has become a place of joy and suffering, and even the sea has become polluted.”
